Jan 2012
After the trip to Mt Kinabalu, we had a sharing session and shared about experiences on the mountain. Well, I did a video for it with the video clips recorded and yes.. I had my crying scenes inside. Despite the fact that I wasn't in my best state, but it made me realized that tears aren't sign of weakness. It made me felt more powerful.. it is also a form of relieve for me. I can cry a lot, but with every drop of tears... I get stronger.
During the sharing session, the Nepal and Kilimanjaro team were present too.
So here's them sharing my crying photo >< I felt like hiding, but.. oh wells. I had people's unglam stuff as well.
Here's the wall of Kinabalu photos. I GOT SOLO SHOTS!! ^^
This is the video adhi did ^^
While I was watching this... it brought back loads of fun memories ^^
Chinese new year was a little earlier this year. CNY was awesome which was like usual.. busy with visiting.

Feb 2012
Valentine's with dear ^^
We went for the movie mob at Scape and it was an awesome experience. Before that we went to several other places as well. Sweet Valentine's with my Love.
Training for Kili started and it was much much tougher than I expected it to be.
I guess I've never walked that far in my entire life. We walked from SP so Bukit Timah Hill a few times and we also walked from SP to vivo and to Henderson wave. The several hour tracks were so so tiring, but thinking back now.. I think its totally necessary.
March 2012
March was holidays and definitely packed to the max. As the frequency of the training increases, there just wasn't much time for myself. And there were loads of things to prepare for like getting the equipment sorted out and collecting money, printings ad all the necessary shit. Just before leaving for the trip to Kili, I went to Kota Tinggi to help out. It was more like going back to Leap Foundation as a co Facil and the experience was definitely rewarding. The lessons and concepts that I relearnt helped me along the way up to the summit. I was glad I went for it even though I had to leave on the third day morning for the Kili trip.
The most memorable thing was actually the tug of war because I felt helpless because I couldn't be the one there to do the pulling and all I could do was cheer them on and... that actually helped a great deal. On the second day I had more experience and I felt that I improved. And... the most important thing was to "fake it fake it till you make it"
The trip to Kilimanjaro was the furthest I've ever mean and also the highest. We had 3 flights that took about 25 hours to complete and I took a propeller plane for the first time! We transited at Doha (SOMEWHERE I HAVEN'T BEEN TO AND SHOULD VISIT, BUT THIS TIME ROUND NOT IN MY DENIM SHORTS) Yes. We then switch flights to Tanzania for the propeller plane.
We arrived in the evening and checked in to our hotel. It was a really nice experience. The trip started the day after as we had a free day, we did a little shopping for souvenirs.
Photo with my singing buddy. ^^
The journey up wasn't easy but definitely rewarding.
and I actually visited the Safari. Something I thought I will never thought I would actually do.
I need to rush out already. Continue when I'm back ^^
Meanwhile.. enjoy your New Year's Eve.
