I've went having the song by Lee Hom on repeat mode. it's a really meaningful song. Anyways, we celebrated My grandma's 70th birthday earlier at a restaurant at Coronation Plaza.
My grandma held it at Miao Yi restaurant, a vegetarian one. It was great. A lot of the dishes tasted so good and we didn't really mind it being meatless. At least I know I didn't. it was a really big gathering with about 60 people. Everyone in the extended family came down. My grandma is the eldest! That's why. I remembered the last time round we celebrated her 60th birthday and it was huge as well, despite the fact that I was only 11. Grandma isn't exactly 70, but according to the Hokkien culture, they don't celebrate the 9,19,29 and so on. So you get me. And why not 70th I can't remember also. But they just don't. That's why we're celebrating it on her 68th.
After the meal, we headed down to Far East Plaza for shopping. Then bus-ed down to OG to shop before going to Cineleisure for Ahboy to Man movie. It was a great showed and I teared quite a bit through out the show. I love how the movie went and definitely a must watch. Ended the day with supper at Scape Kopitiam before heading home.
Sometimes the sensitivity of women master that oblivious to the fact that man are just not as sensitive.
